Dr. K Rajendran

Dr. K Rajendran is a Specialist in Paediatrics and Neonatology, attached to Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH) in Coimbatore as Head of Department since 2003. He can also be consulted privately at Siva Medi Centre, located in the Ramanathapuram neighbourhood of the city. Prior to his current post, he was at the Masonic Medical Centre in Coimbatore from 1998 when he joined as Assistant Paediatrician, until 2003 when he left as Deputy Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. K Rajendran graduated from Coimbatore Medical College in 1992. He was Resident at JIPMER Pondicherry from 1993 to 1994 and then did his post-graduation (MD Paediatrics) at the Institute of Child Health, Madras Medical College, Chennai. Dr. Rajendran has been an active member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (Coimbatore Chapter), having served as its Secretary in 2000-01 and President in 2015-16. He is a licensed Professor of The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and an Examiner for Occupational Therapy. He has been Research Guide for 25 DNB postgraduate students.
